Summer Food Cardiff network meet-up

Next month, you are invited to join individuals, organisations and businesses from across the city for our Summer Food Cardiff network meet-up.
Taking place from 5pm-7pm on 10 th July, simply sign up here to book your ticket for free.

Don’t forget, you don’t have to have been to any previous meetings to join in; our meetups are open to anyone and everyone who is interested in the city’s good food movement.

This time, we are being hosted by the team from the Grangetown Kitchen Garden. With two Polycrubs, a fleet of raised beds and fruit trees and bushes, there is plenty to learn and do in the kitchen garden, where crops are grown to the best possible standard to use in the community Kitchen Garden cafe, to share with the community at the weekly Kitchen Garden Market, and to supply fresh ingredients for the onsite cooking courses.

As part of this meetup, there is also an open invite for people to visit Grangetown Kitchen Garden during the day to see the projects in action.

Ahead of the December Food Cardiff meeting, why not take the chance to read up on the Good Food Cardiff Strategy 21-24, and find out more about our work to date? Over the last nine years, we have grown to make a recognisable impact at a citywide level, and in 2021, the city achieved Silver Sustainable Food Places status (the first place in Wales and one of only six places in the UK).
