Fresh from our success at the Cost Sector Awards, Food Cardiff has earned another accolade, this time at the Advanced Healthcare Awards (AHA).
The event in London saw us take home the Public Health England award for our flagship School Holiday Enrichment Programme (SHEP).
Emma Holmes, dietitian with Cardiff and Vale UHB, and Sustainable Food Cities Coordinator Katie Palmer accepted the award to acknowledge their contribution to public health. They were joined by other staff from the UHB who were celebrating a further two wins on the night.
Our SHEP pilot has also been nominated for a Footprint Award, which honours sustainability and responsible business practice, as well as an NHS Wales Award, where we are nominated for Improving Health And Wellbeing and Reducing Inequalities.
