Food Waste Café: Lunchtime Cooking Workshop

As part of the Love Food Hate Waste Campaign, Lia’s Kitchen are working with Green City to deliver intensive cooking workshops in the Splott, Roath & Penylan areas in Cardiff.

When: Saturday 21st February 2014, 11am – 1pm
Where: No Fit State Circus, John Street, Cardiff, CF10 5PE

Cost: £5

Come along and learn how to love your leftovers, prevent food waste and save money at Cardiff’s food waste pop-up cafés. Throughout the session you will cook and eat a tasty lunch together whilst learning how to reduce food waste and be more food savvy.

You will leave this workshop with:

  • Recipes that help your transform commonly wasted ingredients and leftovers into delicious dishes
  • Tips and ideas on how to store food and keep it fresher for longer
  • Tools and new resources that help you portion and measure food accurately and avoid wasting food

There are limited places at our waste so please contact liaskitchen@gmail.com or call us on 07870131558 to be added to the attendance list. A £5 booking fee will be required. Please indicate your date of preference (7 or 21 February 2015).
