A group of local, independent coffee shops and restaurants has teamed up to promote #ContactlessCoffee and encourage the safe and hygienic use of reusable coffee cups

The latest #GoodFoodCardiff story is about how lockdown has made The Wongs slow down, be happy and live a more sustainable life by growing and cooking their own food.

Since launching #GoodFoodCardiff to celebrate the positive things happening around food during this pandemic, we’ve been overwhelmed with the response and wanted to share some of the stories here. If you would like to share your story you can submit it here.

Today we hear about the massive team effort from Dan Wilson, Lee Wright, Louise Coombs, Sasha Griffiths and Gareth Bendle and many more at Cardiff Youth Service, to help young people grow and cook food during lockdown.

Sometimes it can feel hard to eat well if you don’t have much cooking equipment, but there are lots of options to enjoy good food. I’ve put together some low cost main meals and light meals ideas that can be made when only a hob, toaster and microwave are available.

Cardiff’s multi-award winning school holiday enrichment programme (SHEP), Food and Fun has picked up its ninth award at the renowned 2018 Foodservice Catey Awards.
